🎤 Session: .NET Encryption Fails
Carl was a .NET developer for enough years to remember the big TechEd parties and when generics was introduced. He switched to working as a penetration tester after 2021 and specialises in secure coding practices.
Session Expectations: Carl will demonstrate common mistakes developers make when using encryption in .NET, how adversaries look for these issues, and how they compromise it. This will be a workshop-style session - bringing a device is recommended to try the examples yourself.
