• Host of the popular Alaska Climate and Aviation radio podcast

In addition to her busy aviation career, Katie is a proud mom of two teenagers — and when she’s not in the air, you might find her swapping her plane’s wheels for skis (or skis back to wheels) depending on the season.
Katie will share her unique perspective on flying Alaska’s spectacular wilderness, the challenges and joys of life as a female pilot in the North, the stories behind her writing and photography, and what it’s like to build a multifaceted career while raising a family in one of the most beautiful — and demanding — places on Earth.
