"The Song Remains the Same is a 1976 concert film featuring the English rock band Led Zeppelin. The filming took place during the summer of 1973, during three nights of concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with additional footage shot at Shepperton Studios in Surrey. The film premiered three years later on 20 October 1976 at Cinema I in New York, on 21 October 1976 at the Fox Wilshire Theater in Beverly Hills, and at Warner West End Cinema in London two weeks later.[2] It was accompanied by a soundtrack album of the same name.

Promotional materials stated that the film was "the band's special way of giving their millions of friends what they had been clamouring for – a personal and private tour of Led Zeppelin. For the first time the world has a front row seat on Led Zeppelin."

Fans drove up ticket sales, but many reviewers – as well as band members Robert Plant and John Paul Jones – disliked the film at the time of its initial release (1976), although in subsequent years critics warmed up to the movie and it now receives mostly favourable ratings from the public.

A standard DVD of the film was released on 31 December 1999. A reissue of the film, including previously unreleased footage as a bonus, was released on DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-ray Disc on 20 November 2007, by Warner Home Video.[3]"

We have had a lot of fun sharing our love of movies with you over the past couple years. So, this night, we celebrate each and every one of you ghouls who have helped to make the Steamer 10 our horrific little home. Happy Birthday, Ghouls!
Since we didn't get to see you all in your Halloween costumes this year, we have decided to have a little costume contest! The theme will be 'Classic Halloween Costumes' (Witches, Vampires, Devils, Zombies, etc.) Contest winners will be announced before the start of the 3rd movie!
Doors open at 3pm. Preshow and intermission videos! Suggested donation, $5 per movie.

Phantom of the Opera

The Satanic Rites of Dracula
This is the eighth film in Hammer's Dracula series. Van Helsing is once more approached by the Secret Service after one of their officer gets hold of information regarding elite personalities performing satanic rituals in a mansion located on the outskirts. The dynamic duo of Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.

Sleepwalkers
Charles and his mother Mary are sleepwalkers - they can change their appearance and they need the lifeforce from young women. Charles has picked out Tanya as his next victim. Clovis the Cat has other plans for the sleepwalkers.

The Night Flier
A tabloid journalist tracks "The Night Flier", a serial killer who travels by private plane stalking victims in rural airports. The journalist begins to suspect that The Night Flier could really be a vampire.

"The traditional musical comedy is often viewed as a light weight confection consisting of some catchy but mundane songs, a ridiculous story and a romance involving a very handsome man and a beautiful but naive woman. Cynophiles often look down their noses at them, with some justification, as fluffy throw-aways of little cinematic value. There are however examples to the contrary, “The Wizard Of Oz”, “Singin’ In The Rain”, “The Bandwagon” (with a fairly sophisticated book) and a few others. “The Court Jester” is different, there is no handsome hero, no beautiful female, instead you get Danny Kaye and Glynnis Johns. The story is a right-on spoof of the 1950’s medieval adventure genre (the classic is “Ivanhoe” with Robert Taylor trying to keep a straight face), many of the songs are clever and the whole enterprise is still funny 70 years later. So don’t give in to your snobby cinematic tendencies if you have any, come see this movie and enjoy a good laugh. Also with Basil Rathbone as the villain (what else?), the inimitable Mildred Natwick and Angela Lansbury, directed by Melvin Frank (“Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House”) who also co-wrote the script.
