About us
The purpose of this group is to build a community of people who enjoy watching films, discussing films, and spending time with other film lovers.
We welcome people of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, etc. Our only requirement is that you enjoy movies.
We mostly watch movies, but frequently go to dinner together before/after watching movies and frequently discuss movies over drinks/snacks after movies.
We also have fun non-film events that are focused on building our movie community.

A Minecraft Movie FREE in Lincoln Park! 💕 🐑 🎥
Lincoln Park, 228 Eagle Street, Albany, NY, USHowdy, Haley BCU here! 👋 This is a series of free family-friendly films sponsored by Love Albany that include free popcorn, activites, and the like. My husband and I take our cat Elwood to these events all the time (no kids or cats required, though! 💕) and they're so much fun!
This feature, A Minecraft Movie, is a blast and has an incomparable/insane score from Mark Mothersbaugh (of DEVO) that you won't soon forget. I refuse to spoil this movie for anyone who hasn't seen it—suffice to say this is a film for everyone & catching it on a big screen with an excited crowd is the way.
When we meet, you won't be able to miss me because I'll (likely) be the only one with a cat in a stroller.
Event details below are taken from Love Albany's website:

The supporting cast features Robert Young, Robert Stack, Frank Morgan, Dan Dailey, Ward Bond and Maria Ouspenskaya.
