"One of the first of classic 1950’s Sci Fi movies with a story and script by Ray Bradbury. Directed by Jack Arnold, one of the great directors of 1950s science-fiction features. The basic story is that aliens arrive on earth, it’s not clear why and, as we find out at the end, is quite interesting. An interesting story, a bit creepy at times, shot in moody black and white with an atmospheric sound track and capable acting. With Richard Carlson (Creature From The Black Lagoon) and Barbara Rush (When Worlds Collide). Don’t let the poster fool you, its not like that.

Because this movie is only 81 minutes long we will also show a special short, possibly the first commercial film ever made, it was filmed in 1902, 124 years ago.

Suggested donation: $5."
