With K-pop, Korean films, and television shows growing in popularity across the Western hemisphere, the Albany Taste of Korea festival opens the door for all to dive deeper into the country’s spices and flavors. From the sweetness and spiciness of tteokbokki to a hearty roll of kimbap, there’s plenty of Korean street dishes to try.

The festival also goes beyond food, as it’s a celebration of community unity and a chance for families of all backgrounds to share new experiences. Beyond eating some tasty dishes, there are also cultural demonstrations, activities, and interactive experiences, such as making kimbap with three very familiar Korean demon hunters.

IFY encourages all attendees to arrive hungry. The event is free, but anyone interested in attending can reserve their attendance through Eventbrite."
