Evening Paddle- Henry Hudson Park, Bethlehem, Hudson River

Details
Note: there are 2 launch areas at the park. There is an area for hand-carried boats near the Upstate Kayak Rental facility and a ramp for power boats which is where we usually put in. If you are planning to rent, please contact Pam to coordinate joining the group.
Be on the water BEFORE 6:00pm. Plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes ahead of launch time to unload your boat & organize your gear. We begin paddling promptly at 6pm.
Take the Thruway to Exit 22. After the tollbooth, take Rt. 144 north for about 1 mile, then take a right onto Barent Winne Road to the DEC boat launch next to Henry Hudson Park.
We will paddle up or down stream depending on the conditions.
Rentals available through Upstate Kayaks during the Upstate season. Contact them to make arrangements, at least a day before the paddle.
Please sign-up at [auntmayor@aol.com](mailto:auntmayor@aol.com) by noon on the day of the paddle and give your cell phone number for last minute changes, which will be announced via text if conditions change. This is the only way to sign up.
You must wear a securely fastened PFD, and have a white light and whistle (required!). NO cotton clothing.
See General Information for Evening Paddling Trips.
