World Film Forum presents: Intro to Ireland w/dinner @O'Toole's & an Irish film.
Details
Unfortunately, April was too busy and we didn't get to do a World Film Forum event. This is a sign-up for the World Film Forum's May event. We'll be going out for an early dinner at O'Toole's Irish Restaurant, then watching an Irish movie together at Pinnacle Living.
The suggested donation of $5/person pays for some snacks/beverages that we provide, as well as operating costs.
In the past, we tried doing this as a potluck, but it didn't really work. Nevertheless, if you want to bring some homemade baked goods, then let me know so that we don't get multiple people bringing the same thing.
We used to see Irish films at the Irish-American Heritage Museum, but they haven't been screening any recently. Therefore, I decided to screen an Irish film in May because O'Toole's (one of the few places in the area with somewhat authentic Irish food) is closing on May 27th. It will be a great loss to the community when they shut their doors for good.
