What we’re about

  • Self-realization and meditation
  • Getting connected to one's own spiritual power
  • Using that power to improve one's mental, emotional, and physical well-being
  • Increasing one's self-knowledge
  • Experiencing greater joy and bliss
  • Sharing our experiences

During our meetups, we will discover

  1. How easy it is to meditate
  2. The in-built system that connects us with the spiritual power called Kundalini which teaches us about ourselves, balances us and gives us the benefit of meditation
  3. Energy centers and channels inside us, their qualities and relationships to our physical, and emotional well-being
  4. How to use sound or mantras to improve the quality of our energy centers, channels, and the energies that run through them
  5. How to use sensations on your hands (vibratory awareness) to discern positive from negative
  6. Using the elements (fire, earth, air, water) to clear our energy centers

Sahaja Yoga is a spiritual movement started in 1970 by an Indian woman named Nirmala Srivastava (aka Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi), whom many regarded as an incarnation of the Divine Mother. For 41 years until her passing at 87, she traveled to over 90 countries, helping millions achieve inner peace and self-realization. According to her, Sahaja Yoga is a practical approach to spirituality that can be practiced by anyone, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Gradually the teaching of Sahaja Yoga was taken up by those who practiced it and continues to be spread by "Sahaja Yogis"

"Sahaja Yoga Meditation", "Sahajayoga Meditation" and "Sahaja Meditation" are different presentations of Sahaja Yoga that highlight meditation and the benefits which come from regular meditation.
