Scheduling Tips for veg/AR groups?

Up here in the northern clime, we get only about 4 months or so of "outdoor weather". This leads to everyone cramming activities into those few warm months.

Often on weekends.

And this leads to the inevitable and frequent conflicts.

One thing I've learned over the years (the hard way) is that unless something absolutely *has* to be on a weekend, better to schedule it for an evening during the work-week. At least during the warmer months.

One of the easiest guidelines? If it's a single day event, try to schedule it on a workday evening. This leaves weekends open for those things that truly need 2 days- say for travel, or festivals, etc.
