This time, our group had a fun discussion about Ursula Le Guin's "The Left Hand of Darkness." For example, we focused on how the author addressed different topics, such as gender roles and politics, in her book. Due to the upcoming holidays, our group will meet in on Satumrday, January 31st.

This time, we decided to branch out to fantasy writers outside the United States. Thanks to a new member's recommendation, we will read "The Three-Body Problem," written by the Chinese science-fiction writer Liu Cixin. We will discuss our thoughts about the book and what we will read for the next meeting.

As always, new attendees are always welcome to provide recommendations for future readings. While we currently plan to meet at Monroe's on Osuna Road, our group is looking for other options. If you know a good breakfast/coffee place, please post your recommendation as a comment below. I look forward to seeing everyone there!
