Lunch at Brinsley Lodge (was Italian lunch in Eastwood)

NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE!

Last week a 'for sale' sign went up at Quattro Stagioni and I've been unable to get a response to find out if they've already closed or if they can still open for us next Tuesday. I don't want to risk 20 of us standing outside a closed restaurant so have changed venue.

I've now booked a table for 20 people at Brinsley Lodge, 56 Mansfield Road, Brinsley, NG16 5AE. They have recently started offering 3 courses for £9.50 on Tuesday lunch, though normal menu also available. Their offer menu changes weekly but an example is below:

Vegetable soup with bread
Breaded mushrooms and garlic mayo dip
Vegetable spring roll and sweet chilli

Roast beef dinner and Yorkshire pudding
Roast turkey dinner and stuffing
Beef stroganoff, rice and garlic bread
Ham, egg and chips
Scampi, chips and peas
Fishless fishcake, chips and peas

Fruit sponge and cream
Apple pie and custard
Ice cream sundae

If you can no longer make this event please change your RSVP as soon as possible as I need to call into the restaurant to pay a deposit to secure our booking so will amend table size if necessary. We'll be seated upstairs so suggest entering via the back door where the stairs are then to the left. There is a large car park or it's on the Rainbow One bus route (but destination Alfreton not Ripley). As it's also a pub the event is no longer bring your own alcohol!

Three course lunch a bargain £9.95! Starter - minestrone soup or potato skins. Main course - choice of pizza or pasta. Dessert - ice cream or coffee. A la carte menu also available if not wanting 3 courses or would prefer different dishes.

The restaurant doesn't have an alcohol licence. Soft drinks are available. But you are welcome to BYOB wine or beer. Glasses provided.
