Join the Heanor 50+ forum for an afternoon with Stephen Flinders giving a talk on Railways and Stanton, followed by a quiz and refreshments!

This is a free afternoon discovering a little local history from our industrial past and takes place at Wilmot Street Community Centre in Heanor.

You do not have to be over 50 to join the talk, if you have an interest in the railways and Stanton ironworks, pop along meet some like minded souls and enjoy a little conversation and refreshments.

The centre is one street back from the Market place with limited parking in the centre car park or next door at the Wilmot Street carpark, payable locally. Alternatively the 34 Langley Mill bus, or the R1 will land you at the Market Place with a 2 minute walk from there.
