Erewash Canal Walk & Spring Clean

Another ALF walk with a difference.

Run by Erewash Canal Association and starting at Langley Mill Lock. Thge ECA is having a canal towpath walk and spring clean. Join them on 17th April for an early morning walk, planting and litter picking along the towpath.

Help plant wildflowers along the towpath, clear out the litter and help the wildlife flourish. Start at 9am at Langley Mill Lockside or Toll House. Parking is limited, so either on Linkmel Road behind the Great Northern or down at ASDA and walk along 2 minutes. The Rainbow 1 drops outside the garage or opposite the pub.

There is an initial briefing by the Canal Association and all equipment is provided but you will need good footwear and long trousers as you will potentially be wondering in undergrowth.

You can do all 3 hours all along the path or just a shorter time to suit your abilities and as you wish.
