Heanor & District Local History Society 1000 Years of ALM in 60 minutes

As part of our ongoing local heritage events, this evening we welcome Robert Mee of the Heanor & District Local History Society for a fascinating look at Aldercar and Langley Mill’s past. His talk, “1000 Years of Aldercar and Langley Mill in 60 Minutes,” promises an engaging hour of local history, with time to mingle, chat, and enjoy refreshments.

The event is free, though donations on the night will help support the community hub. If you’re interested in local transport, industry, potteries, housing, or buildings, don’t miss this evening.

Parking is available for two hours at the Acorn Centre, or use Asda for unlimited parking just a short walk away. The Acorn Centre is also served by the Rainbow 1 and the 34 Ilkeston/Hucknall bus.
