Erewash Canal Association presents......talk by Michael Golds

Another talk in our series of local history, heritage and culture. This time...

"Restoring the Great Northern Canal Basin, Langley Mill and Beyond" by Michael Golds of the Erewash Canal Association.

This informal talk on a local heritage topic close to the hearts of many people both local and further afield will interest boat and canal enthusiasts, volunteers and community heritage folk and locals alike.

Free event with tea and coffee thrown in. Numbers are limited, but Alfites get first knowledge so please update your status should you not be able to attend.

As ever this is a Tuesday evening, so busses are plenty and stop outside the Acorn Centre. Parking on the centre is limited to 2 hours, so please use Asda car park or Wesley Street and walk across, saves on folk having to get up to shift cars....
