D H Lawrence Birthplace Open Day

As part of the national heritage open days, the D H Lawrence Birthplace Museum in Eastwood will be offering free entry on Sunday 13th September between 10am and 4pm. Come and see a Victorian house with kitchen, pantry, parlour, bedrooms, attic room, wash house, garden and exhibition rooms. Watch a short audio visual show then tour the rooms at your own pace. Learn how they lived in the early 1900s and about this local author.

Come along any time during the day. No need to pre-book. But if you visit before 1pm you'll find me as a volunteer dressed as a Victorian lady!
