Guido's Margarita Saturday Cookout - Non-card event

Details

It's that time of year again! Come to Casa di Guido for the Annual Margarita Saturday.

Summary:

  • Arrive at 4pm, Real Food at 6pm
  • There will be beer, booze, and of course margaritas available (if you want something special to drink bring it)
  • Everyone is welcome to bring side dishes, desserts, fancy or regular apps, but they are NOT required, your presence is the real treat.
  • You're welcome to bring friends to make the event more funner for you (and us).

Details:
As usual, this is a family friendly event (for at least the first 5 to 6 hours, after that all bets are off). We'll start at 4 pm with normal chips and stuff and real food around 6 pm or 30 minutes after I decide to start cooking.

I'm pretty sure there will a ton of smoked meat (pulled pork, chicken, and/or beef brisket), corn, burgers, dogs, etc. With luck (and help from my Sister and Bro-in-Law) the dogs will be the ones you get on the Jersey Shore from Max's or Windmill (those that know will be excited).

I'll also provide the usual beer, liquor, wine, soda, etcetera...and, of course, frozen margaritas (pssss Christian, there's tequila in the frozen margaritas). Everyone else is welcome to bring side dishes, desserts, fancy or regular apps (if bringing an app please show up BEFORE dinner), or nothing at all.

Don't be that person that says "I didn't have time to make anything so I didn't come" (said in a whiny tone). Please, there will be plenty of food for the cooking impaired, shopping adverse, or time constricted; just show up and you'll be fed. My Italian Grandmother and my Mother would strike me down if I didn't feed you. Also, you're welcome to bring friends as long as you'd have them in your house (if they're female and single that restriction doesn't really apply).

ps. this has to be the earliest party announcement ever ...over a month in advance.

pps. Everyone please try to respond so I can attempt to control my usual over purchasing of food. I'm told that I don't need 2 lbs of meat per person but sometime the pork butts just look small!
