Welcome to Queer & Friends Algarve — a relaxed, friendly community for LGBTQ+ people and friends living in or visiting the Algarve.
Our goal is simple: bring people together, make genuine connections, and enjoy everything the Algarve has to offer.
We organise a variety of social activities throughout the year, which may include casual drinks, dinners, beach days, walks and hikes, outdoor adventures, cultural events, games, day trips, Pride activities and spontaneous get-togethers.
There is no fixed venue or regular monthly meeting day. Events are organised at different locations and times across the Algarve, so keep an eye on our upcoming Meetup events for what's happening next.
Whether you're new to the Algarve, have lived here for years, are single or partnered, local or international — you're welcome. Come on your own or bring your partner or friends.
We're not about labels, cliques or pressure. We're about creating a welcoming space where people can meet naturally, have a laugh, discover new places and hopefully build lasting friendships.
