Hi Everybody,
My name is Anouk, a RYS certified yoga teacher as well as a yoga therapist from Amsterdam. I moved to Alicante in 2018 to share the positive things I experienced by practicing yoga. I kept on learning and found myself moving more and more in the direction of yoga therapy.
Yoga Therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalised assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices.
I have been working in a health clinic for people with severe burn-out, depression and anxiety for years now, and I have found that there are as many issues as there are people and each one deserves personalized help. Nobody should be put in a box.
So this is where this Meetup comes in.
