THE SUNSET CLUB: celebrating SPRING EQUINOX & launching QUESTIONS FOR CONNECTION

This is the first SUNSET CLUB of 2024! We will be celebrating the Spring Equinox, and launching a new way to connect one another, ourselves, and the natural world around us.

We will:

• arrive at the Parliament Hill Viewpoint at 17:30
• meet fellow sunset watchers
• Option to discuss QUESTIONS FOR CONNECTION in pairs/small groups.
• watch the sunset 🌞
• hang out in the park for longer if its warm, or carry on conversations at a local pub if its cold 😊

The QUESTIONS FOR CONNECTION are designed to get us talking (a bit like the Thought Experiments in my other meetup group: THOUGHT EXPERIMENTS IN PUBS). They are optional starting points for conversation or reflection. They are intended as food for thought rather than a strict agenda to follow. The vibe is laid back and friendly, feel free to talk or listen, and see where your conversations go!

If we’re lucky, we will get a beautiful sunset, with pink clouds, golden light, and a clear view over London. If it’s raining, we share a sense of solidarity in being outside together and migrate more quickly to a nearby pub to carry on our conversations.

Bring layers if clothes, something to sit on, and drinks/snacks of your choice (recommendation: a thermos of tea/coffee will help keep you warm 🍵☕️)

We will be easy to find because we will be at the top of the hill with a big green flag that says 'Ecotherapy London'

In future THE SUNSET CLUB will be on Saturday evenings. This one is a special exception as it is the Spring Equinox :-). Join us to celebrate the SPRING EQUINOX, the longer days, the warmer temperatures, and to ponder some thought provoking questions!
