Your Appalachian Trail season starts here — in Pennsylvania!

Join the Allentown Hiking Club, Blue Mountain Eagle Climbing Club, in partnership with Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, for the 2026 Rocksylvania Pennsylvania Appalachian Trail Kickoff on Saturday, April 11, 2026!
Whether you’re brand new to the AT, planning a section hike, or gearing up for a thru-hike, this free, hands-on event is designed to help you hike smarter, safer, and more confidently in Rocksylvania and beyond.

• Interactive gear and map prep stations
• Trail safety & Leave No Trace guidance
• “Trail for All” station focused on inclusive access and well-being
• Info on hostels, shuttles & long-distance hiking logistics
• AT hiker registration, hang tags & LNT training
• Conservation education with Hawk Mountain Sanctuary
• Local hiking clubs, experienced volunteers, bake sale & more!
