About us
The Alliance Française de Seattle is a dynamic educational and cultural 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to promote the French language and Francophone cultures through diverse programs in the Puget Sound area. It is part of an international network of Alliances Françaises—832 in 131 countries, and 105 of them in the USA alone.
AFSeattle offers French language classes and free community events for all ages and levels, with certified French as a Foreign Language instructors. It is open to everyone, whether you have studied French before or are just exploring an interest. Community events include, happy hours, lectures, screenings, workshops, book launches, culinary experiences and more.

Salon des Arts: French Music

Join us for a 1-hour piano concert by Luke Raffanti, followed by time to connect and mingle in Ravenna Neighborhood.

The program invites listeners to enjoy a selection of works by French composers, including Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, and Gabriel Fauré, as well as Frédéric Chopin (who, though not French, remains closely associated with the French piano tradition).Perfect for classical music lovers and newcomers alike, this concert promises an evening that celebrates the enduring legacy of these master composers.
At the heart of the evening is community: a relaxed, open space for French speakers and enthusiasts of all levels to connect, converse, and enjoy classical music in a convivial atmosphere.
Whether you're here to listen to the concert, to practice your French, or simply to enjoy good company, Salon des Arts offers a unique space to engage with the richness of francophone culture.
While tickets for this evening are free through AFSeattle, the recommended donation to the artist is $20 per person.
