Distance ~10 miles // Elevation ~1,800 feet

We’ll start with the steady, fat burning climb up Skyline Trail. Skyline is a consistent fire road climb that leads to a variety of options to descend back to your car (including some of the sketchiest descents in the greater OC area such as Tombstone, Skinsuit, and Tin Mine). There are spots to pull over along the way up and enjoy the view. Who knew that Corona could actually be beautiful?

Once we are at the top and we’ve caught our breath and snapped some photos, we’ll drop into Troy Lee for a rip roaring descent back to the bottom. Expect fast, flowy sections mixed with some steep technical features sprinkled in. Troy Lee is rated (light) Black with a couple sketchy spots, steep sections, and loose gravely bits all the way down. It criss-crosses the Skyline fire road so if at any point you feel it is over your head, you can opt to take the fire road back down.
