Playful Paws is Bend’s only cat cafe. We get 50 minutes in the lounge with 10+ adoptable cats. Get your animal cuddles in with other cat people.

For this meetup, you have to register yourself. Click the link below to book, pay, and sign a waiver for Playful Paws. Book the Thursday May 28th at 5pm slot if the link doesn’t work for you. Then, confirm your RSVP on the Meetup app so we know who to expect 🙂

It’s $20 (plus 1.50 fee) and includes a free soda or drink. Beer and wine also available separately.

Shoes must be off in the cat room. Please show up 10 minutes early to check in. They have a cute little shop up front too with little cat-themed things!

I’ll have 💚/❤️ lanyards this time since we’ll be moving around. Green side up if you’re open to socializing, red side up if you’re feeling quiet.

If people are hungry, we’ll grab dinner nearby after at Cheba Hut!

Time to paint pottery again!

There’s over 200 cute ceramic pieces to choose from. Most of us felt like picking what to paint was the hardest decision we had to make. Pottery pieces are paid directly to the studio and range from $16 to $75 per piece. Average price seemed to be in the $25 to $40 range. Their policy is that all who show up must purchase pottery.

This is low-pressure. There’s no talent required. It’s just fun to get creative, and we all had a great time last time! They have stamps, stickers, sponges, and stencils too if people want.

Feel free to bring your own alcohol-free drink. Paint is water-soluble (and food-safe), so don’t stress about your clothes.

It usually takes about two hours. They allow you to come back another day to finish your art if you aren’t done in time. They will fire your creation, ready for pick up in 7-10 days.

I’ll have the red/green coasters. Please grab one when you sit down. Flip it to red if you want to chill quietly, green if you’re open to chatting. Flip it over anytime!

We understand life happens! Please edit your RSVP to make room for someone else if your plans change. Last time, we ended up with a lot of no-shows, which was unfortunate for the people who wanted to paint and couldn’t. If you need to cancel day of, please also comment on the event so other members who might be waitlisted get notified and can grab your spot. Thank you. Can’t wait to paint with y’all!

Do you work from home and want to get out? Have a flexible work schedule and need to get sh*t done? Want to do a crossword puzzle, or maybe you’re retired and want to eat with people?

Come cowork, body double, or just eat a bagel next to others at @bosbendxoxo. Bring your laptop, your to-do list, or whatever you want. I’ll likely be reading or doing a word search if I don’t need to be productive! If you’re feeling social, know the work day meetups tend to be quieter as people are usually getting stuff done.

Bring your dinner, snacks, lawn games, a book, a kite if it’s windy, whatever you want to hang. Bring a blanket or towel to chill in the grass. This is a create-your-own-fun kinda hangout.

We’ll be doing a (PG) show and tell at some point if you want to join — silly, impressive, weird, dramatic, whatever. Bring the pics or the actual thing if it’s portable and safe. Otherwise, please be a supportive audience member.

This one is free-free! No businesses to support this time. Just support yourself — bring all the things you need to have fun in the sun!

No alcohol please — this is a neighborhood park. Please be respectful so we’re welcomed back. Park anywhere you’re allowed in the neighborhood nearby.

We’ll be in the grass near the Orchard Park sign. If people are already there, look for us elsewhere in the park. It’s not that big — you’ll find us staking a spot somewhere! I’ll post a photo of some distinct landmark or a selfie when I get there.
