Game Night @ Modern Games

Modern Games has a $5 fee. They have a huge library full of different games for us to choose from! We’ll peruse the game library, break up into smaller groups, and pick some games. The staff is willing and able to teach any games if needed.

You’re welcome to switch up the groups and games, so you can meet different people and play something that suits you. Feel free to pop over to another group if they have room and it’s an easy entry. You have to pay to hang out, but you can just watch and not play. You can bring your own games in too if you have any you love. I’ll likely be playing the more brainless games with just a bit of strategy and competition.

They have beer, hot cocoa, cider, kombucha and some snacks like popcorn and beef jerky for purchase. You can buy games or puzzles up front too. There is free Box Factory parking— scan the app on their sign near their checkout to validate your parking so you don’t get a ticket. They’re open until 10 pm so people are welcome to stay later if the vibe is there.

I’ll have the 💚/❤️bracelets at the table near me. Flip it to green if you’re open to being social, twist it to red if you’re feeling quiet. Find me if I don’t find you first, introduce yourself, and grab one.

*If you’re shy in crowds and the attendee limit scares you, don’t be intimidated. People often flake, so this creates more opportunity for others to join a space where there’s enough room either way. There’s always a chance everyone will show up or only a few will sign up, but we won’t all be hanging out together anyway. Excited to see you there!
