What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Who is it for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. You can say anything you like or nothing at all.
How does it work?
Typical run over 10-11 weeks, no two Alpha courses look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a short talk and a discussion where you can share your thoughts. There's no pressure and no follow up.
How much is it?
There's no charge for Alpha.

Alpha Course - Autumn 2026
The LifeCentre, 235 Washway Rd, Sale M33 4BP, UK, Sale, GBAlpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. It's about the big questions, such as "What am I here for?" or "What is the purpose of my life?".
It starts on Thursday 8th October 2026, 7pm - 9pm at The LifeCentre Sale. We begin with a hot meal, watch a video, and then have about half an hour around our dinner tables to discuss what we've just watched. It's free to attend and is a super-relaxed opportunity to make new friends and explore important questions. There is no expectation on anyone to think or believe anything - in fact, we're more interested in hearing what you think!
