About us
ALT OGDEN is a social group for local young adults and adults who don't fit the mainstream mold.
Goths, punks, metalheads, artists, horror fans, witches/pagans, eccentrics, and other subculture folks—if you're 18+ and looking for genuine connection, conversation, and a place to belong, you are welcome here.
What we do:
- Social Gatherings: Horror movie nights, goth music listening parties, and custom themed social games.
- Outings & hangouts: Graveyard picnics, thrift and antique runs, creepy local history tours, and Nature Walks: Goth Edition.
- Crafts & Curiosities: Spooky art nights, oddities crafting, tarot sessions, and local paranormal investigations.
- Events: Once we have enough people, we will start doing bigger themed events such as: Vampire Balls, Effigy Burning Parties, Halloween parties, etc.
The Rules:
- Conduct: Be cool to each other. Respect boundaries. Harassment, bigotry, sexual comments, persistent flirting, or making people uncomfortable will get you cast into the void.
- Show up: Community only works if people participate.
- No Alcohol: This is a place to meet people outside of the bar scene. Alcohol may be supplied at larger events, but it should not be brought to gatherings.
- No Soliciting or Proselyting.
