🏆 Feeling the world cup hype? Come play "altinha" with us!

Altinha loosely translates to "keep it high", a Brazilian blend of beach volleyball 🏐 and football ⚽ (excuse us, the North American sport should be called handegg). A circle of beach-loving people kick the ball up between them, aiming to keep it high and stop it from hitting the ground. Any body part is legal other than arms and hands, but most touches are done with the head, shoulders, thighs and feet.

Our friend group has been practicing a few times a week at 🌲 Parc Laf, and we'd love to have people join us for practice and fun.

PS: the next "step" in this world is playing footvolley, which is quite literally beach volleyball with football touch rules (pas de mains!) When we have enough quorum and skill, we'll create events for that too. Joining is the best way to stay in the loop!
