Join Arden-Dimick Library for an audiobook program this summer on five Sundays from 2 to 4 pm. At each of the five meetings, you will hear from experts about how to get the most from audiobooks. You will also discuss how a particular audiobook performance of a beloved print novel affects our perception of the voices of the author, the characters and the narrator.

June 5th : Introduction to Audiobooks with Simon Vance
Simon Vance, award-winning narrator of the Stieg Larsson Girl with the Dragon Tattoo audiobook series, will talk with discussion leader Shelley Blanton-Stroud about how he does his work and what makes good audio.

Sets of the four featured audiobooks will be reserved for registered program participants (Register at: http://www.saclibrary.org/?pageId=26&eventId=35921 ) . Indicate the best way to reach you and which audio format you prefer: CD, Playaway or Digital Download.
