Alice's Restaurant

Alice's is one of those places you have to visit every now and then. It's been 4 years since I was there last, and it's time to pay my respects again. This will be about 400 mi round trip. Due to the mileage, we'll try to keep the pace of this ride moving right along.

In addition to Alice's, this ride features:

• Redwood Road in the Oakland HIlls
• Skyline Blvd/Hwy 35 on the south peninsula
• Mountain Hamilton Road
• Views from the Lick Observatory
• Del Puerto Canyon Road

I'll try to keep the highway time to a minimum; however, there are some sections of Hwy 4 and 92 on the route. The alternatives just add more time or urban congestion than I'd like to deal with.

KSU will be 7:30 from the Starbucks at Kiefer and Bradshaw in Sacramento. Stop in around 6:45 if you would like to share conversation and coffee/breakfast before the ride.
