At Amai Comedy Club you can meet up with people in real life and at the same time experience wonderfull, funny, hilarious comedy shows.
Every Thursday in Dutch or English (depends on who is playing)
Every friday in Dutch
Every saturday in English
Every Sunday a special (sometimes in English).
You can also learn to perform improv and even stand up.
Just come to the venue, see some shows, meet people and get to know the owners of the club!

Comedy showcase with special guest Hannah Platt
Amai Comedy Club, Burgstraat 59, 9000 Gent, Bar, Gent, BEannah Platt (born 1992/1993) is an English comedian and writer from Merseyside. She is known for her Edinburgh Fringe debut show Defence Mechanism (2024), which received positive reviews in The Guardian, The Skinny, Chortle, and other outlets.[2][3][4] She was runner‑up in the Funny Women Stage Award (2023) and a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award (2019).[5][6]
