Rock Garden Hike with Genny!

Attention all early birds! Let's hike in the cool of the morning up Rock Garden. We will meet in the parking lot of The Sad Monkey Mercantile, located about a mile outside the main entrance at 6:45 AM, heading into the park by 6:50-7:00 AM, or when everyone shows up, whichever happens first. If you are going to be late or decide not to come, please let us know.

Dress according to the forecast, bring hiking poles, plenty of water and electrolytes, and something to eat. Rock Garden Trail starts at the bottom of the canyon just off the road and goes all the way up to the rim. With over 750 feet of elevation gain, this trail consists mainly of uphill hiking, covering almost 2.5 miles one direction.
