Last minute plan- Upper Comanche Paseo/ Kiowa loop

Let’s get out and see the wildflowers and cacti blooms! This hike will start at the upper Comanche trailhead at the Mack Dick pavilion parking lot. We will hike to the Comanche spur, across the street to Paseo, then to Kiowa back to the parking lot. The terrain on this trail has both flat and incline areas. We plan 6/7 miles, it may be less. It is supposed to be quite warm on Saturday so we will meet at 6:30 at the Sad Monkey parking lot outside of the park. We can carpool and should be done by 10:30 before it gets too hot in the canyon. Bring water, electrolytes, and a snack. If you have a park pass and are willing to take some people in your car, please let us know.
