Albuquerque Mountain Bike Association Meetup

This Meetup is the riding and social component of the Albuquerque Mountain Bike Association (AMBA), www.ambanm.org. We are a local International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), www.imba.com, chapter involved in mountain biking advocacy, trail building, and community endeavors. This group links mountain bikers in the Albuquerque area and serves as the hub for AMBA's scheduled group rides and social events.

AMBA Ride Levels & Ratings
Join the ride best suited for your current ability. If you are unsure, start conservatively by
joining a lower-level group first. For group safety, Ride Leaders may turn back any rider
who lacks the necessary skill or fitness level for a specific route.

Level A: Easy / Beginner: Low technical features, frequent breaks, under 1 hour duration.
Level B: Moderate / Intermediate: Moderate fitness required, intermittent technical features.
Level C: Skilled / Advanced: High pace with advanced technical features.
Level D: Expert: Fast pace, maximum technical difficulty. You know if you are an expert!

AMBA Rider Guidelines
All riders participate at their own risk; ride guides accept no responsibility for rider safety or injury. Helmets are strictly required. Please bring a trail-ready bike, water, and snacks.

Required Repair Kit
Every rider should carry: spare tube (correct size), pump or CO2 cartridge and tire levers.
