Beacon Search Practice

Winter is Coming!
We will practice searches with avalanche beacons at Merrymount Park in Quincy. This is not a rescue course, rather a refresher on procedures and safety in avalanche terrain.
All experience levels are welcome! The park has ample parking and is about a 30min walk from the Wollaston/Quincy Center stop on the red line.
Registration is required at the link below so we can plan accordingly. In the registration questions, please let us know (1) if you have a beacon or need to borrow one, and (2) whether you have practiced a beacon search before. Probes and shovels are not needed here.
