Description: Get outdoors with your AMC friends at the Weston Ski Track for a relaxed, social introduction to cross-country skiing. This outing is designed as a supportive group experience where we’ll spend time learning the very basics and practicing together at an easy pace.
This is not a formal lesson , but trip leaders will be available to help with fundamentals such as the rental process, putting on skis, basic movement, and getting comfortable on snow. We’ll stay together as a group, share tips, and learn by doing.
This trip is a great fit for: First-time skiers who want help navigating rentals and learning the basics in a low-pressure setting Participants who have taken a Learn-to-Ski class in the past and want more practice time with a group Anyone looking for a casual, social way to get back on skis Weston Ski Track is a well-known cross-country ski venue near Boston with beginner-friendly terrain, making it an ideal place to get started or build confidence.
Cost We dont charge anything, you pay the trail pass and/or rental directly to Weston Ski Track Daily Trail Pass Adult $13 Touring Rental Adult $26 https://www.skiboston.com/rental-rates
Location & Access Weston Ski Track is located along the Charles River near the Riverside T Station, making it convenient for those coming from the city, including participants without a car. We will also send out a carpool sheet to help coordinate.
