Description: Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at the Cardigan Lodge ! Join us from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31 for an action-packed, social multi-adventure retreat with a welcoming group of outdoor enthusiasts in their 20s–40s, building bridges across AMC Boston communities. Plus, your Labor Day Monday will still be free!

What to Expect: A fun, social adventure weekend with around 60 young outdoors lovers A variety of hiking options for all levels , from easy strolls to challenging treks Evenings together at the lodge with games, music, campfires, stargazing, and great company 🍻 Accommodation in a shared bunkhouse — a cozy and communal space perfect for making new friends 3 meals included We ask participants to come up Friday night and stay through Sunday Costs: $195.76 for AMC Members $216.48 for non-AMC Members Refund Policy: Until July 23: Full refund July 24 to August 21: Full refund only if your spot is filled August 22 onward: No refund, regardless of reason.
Climbing Crag Day Option: We’re also planning a climbing crag day activity option at Rumney , just 40 minutes away from the lodge. Please note that space in the climbing group will depend on leader availability and is not guaranteed . If you’re interested in climbing, let us know when you sign up, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Be prepared to hike instead in case weather or leader availability does not pan out.
NOTE: Climbing participants must be confident + proficient lead belayers and bring their own harness, helmet, belay device, and shoes. Crag day will not be instructional or for beginners. Hiking options are for all levels.
