Description: Join AMC Boston 20s & 30s for a nature-themed book club! The book club is held every other month on topics of nature, wildlife, and the environment. For our next book, we will read “Playground", a novel by Richard Powers. Discussion will be held on Monday, August 25 from 7-9pm at Fresh Pond Beer Garden in Alewife. In case of inclement weather, the book club will be held at a nearby location indoors.
Anyone is welcome to join, whether you’ve read all, part, or none of the book! An interest in the book topic is the only prerequisite for joining.
Synopsis: Four lives are drawn together in a sweeping, panoramic new novel from Richard Powers, showcasing the Pulitzer Prize–winning author of The Overstory at the height of his skills.
