Audience: 20’s & 30’s

Description: Join us at a sunflower farm in Johnston, RI followed by an afternoon of historical walk and cultural explorations within the Ocean State! Our crew will spend the morning at the farm to observe the rare variety of red and orange sunflowers on a family-run property for seven generations that blends rustic beauty and seasonal magic. There will be an optional scenic tour of the property on a wagon and a mason jar ($20) to fill with any seasonal blooms such as sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, and lavender. We will spend the afternoon either in Providence or Newport. Come bask in the warm hues of golden abundance and joy with us!
A high-level outline for the day (subject to changes with weather) may include: Dame Farm & Orchards visitation Group lunch at a nearby restaurant in Providence or Newport ($) Visit one local attraction or ~ 4-mile, easy hike (i.e., Cliff Walk, First Beach, Newport scenic bay cruise, Mackerel Cover Beach, etc.) Coffee break at a local cafe ($)
Participants are responsible for their own meals and purchase/attraction expenses and should plan and pack for an 8-hour, active day rain or shine. If light rain, we will shift to more indoor activities for the afternoon. To minimize environmental impact and ease of commuting in Newport, we will be carpooling and limiting the trip to 4-5 cars. We will plan to depart the Greater Boston area by 9am and leave Rhode Island by 5pm.

Registration Process: A welcome email will be sent to confirmed participants with the full detailed schedule. Registrants must respond within 48 hours to re-confirm attendance. If no response, we will release the spot to the next waitlisted participant.
Cancellation Policy: Given historic demands and considerable coordination by the group, late cancellation notices within two days of the trip date may be marked as a ‘No-Show’ if we can't fill your seat.
