Description: Join AMC Boston 20s and 30s for a volunteer day at Drumlin Farm!
Mass Audubon's Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is 291 acres and serves as a working farm, wildlife sanctuary, and educational center. More information can be found here: https://www.massaudubon.org/places-to-explore/wildlife-sanctuaries/drumlin-farm
Volunteers will spend the morning assisting Drumlin staff with farm chores such as weeding, planting, and more! No prior gardening or farming experience is needed but be prepared for kneeling, lifting, and spending plenty of time outdoors.
Please register ahead of the event if interested and leaders will reach out to approved participants with additional information and logistics, such as meeting location/time and carpooling options.
Gear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes Gardening or work gloves (recommended but Drumlin will have extra!) Clothing you don't mind getting dirty Sunscreen Hat & Sunglasses (recommended) Water (2 liters) & Snacks
