Mystic River Paddle and Concert

Description: Come enjoy an evening paddle on the Mystic River! We will meet at the I-95 boat ramp at 5:30 pm with a 5:45 pm launch to head south down to Mystic River Park. Depending on the group's preference, we can hang out by the park and enjoy Concert at Mystic Rive Park or continue further south past the railroad bridge, then meander back up the river to our cars. (During the Concert, you can hear it most of the time while paddling up and down the river:) This week's performance will be the "Waterford Community Band." Max distance would be about 5 miles. Participants are required to wear a life jacket at all times. Participants should also bring snacks, water, clothes in a sealed bag, and a headlamp (just in case). Participants should be comfortable with boat traffic as we may run into some the further south we go on the river.
