Description: Join our 20s and 30s group for a short hike in Blackstone River and Canal State Park in Uxbridge Ma area. There is a cool look out spot at the top of the trail. Keep in mind that there will be a back up location for the hike with similar milage and elevation gain depending on conditions of the first trail. According to google, the parking lot is small depending on how many people sign up. We will ask for people to carpool, so please keep that in mind. If we do need to carpool we will send out a spread sheet ,so people can coordinate. You are also more than welcome to join us for an optional Interchapter (Worcester, Western MA, SEM, CT, and RI) social after the hike. The drive is around an hour west from our hike location.

Description: Happy Fall! To wrap up this 3-season hiking window, a social at Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton, MA is being hosted by the 20's & 30's groups from some of your favorite AMC chapters - Narragansett, Worcester, Western MA, Connecticut, and Southeast Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity to meet outdoor enthusiasts from these five neighboring chapters and learn about upcoming activities that each chapter is planning for the Winter.
There is no cost to attend, but participants are responsible for buying/bringing their own food/drinks. Tree House Brewing Company offers a variety of craft cocktails, crisp beer, cold brew coffee, and sodas. Food trucks are on site every day, and several should be available during our social. Participants can also bring in their own food.
This event will run from 4 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, Oct 17th. In the morning/afternoon before this event, the leaders of this social will be leading hikes in the area that you can sign up for separately. Hope to see many of you there!

Description: Join the Narragansett 20s/30s for a weekend camping trip at George Washington Campground in Glocester, RI . Nestled in the heart of the George Washington Management Area, this scenic campground offers direct access to Bowdish Reservoir . The surrounding area features miles of trails ideal for hiking and exploring Rhode Island’s quiet, wooded landscapes. Our trip should take place around the time the leaves start to change color and offer us some great views.
Participants are required to pay $15.00 for attending this trip. You’re welcome to join for the full weekend (Friday–Sunday) or just part of it (Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday) . The times for each option are shown below. Participants will be called after they register to determine what day(s) they are able to attend and to handle payment. After this, participants will have their registration confirmed. We will plan carpooling to the campsite on Friday afternoon, Friday after work (~6 pm), and Saturday late morning.

A full packing list of camping essentials will be provided upon confirmation of attendance. Participants should plan to bring their own food, as the campground is remote and local amenities are limited. A preliminary list is below.
Due to restrictions on vehicle access within the campground, participants will meet at a designated location nearby and carpool into the site. Please pack accordingly.

Description: Spooky season is upon us! Celebrate the evening with a potluck style dinner, music, and nature walks at the home of the South Kingstown Land Trust (SKLT) in Matunuck, RI. Bring a dish to share, a healthy collection of spooky stories, and get ready to have a fun (scary) evening with friends. Costumes are encouraged and will be judged according to the following categories: funniest, best looking, and most elaborate.

Please note that alcohol and smoking of any kind is not allowed on the premises of the SKLT barn. All participants are welcome to make their own plans to go down the street to the Ocean Mist or similar venue after the event has concluded. All participants will be provided an Excel sheet to notate what dish they will bring and any food allergies. Join us for a night of mystic and magic and embrace the spooky season!
