North Stonington CT Run/Walk the Village

Join the Narragansett Chapter for a charity 5 kilometer race in North Stonington, CT. The course follows paved roads from the local fair grounds through the historic town center and past quaint farmsteads. After the race, participants are welcome to join for a social at a nearby brewery. When signing up at the race website don't forget to list the team as "Appalachian Mountain Club" prizes will be awarded to the largest and fastest teams!

Participants must sign up for the race individually at https://chikumbuso.liveimpact.org/li/7546/sevent/evt/home/277225/69. Pricing is $25 before August 23, or $30 dollars day of (in person registration is available). Please note that if you register for the race and decide you can't make the event any longer, your purchase is subject to the cancellation policy put forth by the race organizers and/or ticketing service. Proceeds from the event go towards funding a breakfast and lunch program for students in Zambia, where extreme droughts in 2024 continue to cause severe food insecurity.
