Description: Step into a tapestry of amber leaves and crisp autumn air—this 6.5-mile woodland hike is for 20s and 30s seeking presence, connection, and a gentle brush with wonder. Nestled in the quiet corners of Rhode Island, George B. Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge offers more than trails—it’s a living storybook of forested hills, meandering streams, and wildlife hidden among golden foliage. Here, the forest hums with the rhythm of the season: leaves crunch beneath your feet, squirrels dart through the underbrush, and sunlight flickers through the treetops. This sprawling refuge invites hikers to wander along winding paths, cross wooden bridges, and pause on shaded knolls that reveal quiet views of the surrounding woodlands. Every bend in the trail offers a chance to notice, breathe, and let the forest’s stories settle gently into your mind.
"To join this activity, registration is required. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation."
