Here, where the land meets the quiet tide, time slows down.
The path opens beneath tall oaks, the scent of salt and earth blending in the breeze. This isn’t about distance—it’s about presence. About feeling the rhythm of your breath echo the rhythm of the water.

Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island, is a place of still beauty—open fields that roll into the bay, stone walls that remember the past, and winding trails that catch the late afternoon light. Every turn offers a new kind of quiet: the rustle of leaves, the distant cry of a gull, the hush before the wind shifts.

Out here, conversation flows easily, and silence feels natural. It’s a walk to reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the steady calm of nature.

🌾 What to Expect:
• Riverside paths lined with trees and open sky
• Gentle movement and moments of reflection
• Mindful pauses to breathe, notice, and connect
• Space for calm, curiosity, and grounding

📌 Event Details
Distance: ~5 miles round-trip
The number of miles can be reduced depending on the weather or on one of the participants.

🎒 What to Bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Layers for changing coastal weather
• Water and curiosity
• It’s a short walk through the property’s trails; no special gear or advanced equipment is needed for the activity.
• An orange vest is not required for this occasion.

📍 Meeting Details:
We’ll email the meeting location, trailhead info, and parking directions the day before the event.

We’ll monitor the coastal forecast and share any updates or cancellations by 6:00 PM the evening before. You can also check local conditions at NOAA.gov.

☕ Optional Post-Walk Gathering:
We’ll stop by a nearby café or coastal eatery to share stories and unwind after our walk.
