Description: We’ll meet for what might be the last coffee of the year — who knows — and after a little caffeine, we’ll take a short walk along the bike path to visit the East Providence troll.
Where the hum of the city fades behind you and the river runs alongside, the world slows down. The path stretches ahead, framed by bare trees and glimpses of water, carrying the crisp air of late autumn. Each step becomes a quiet breath—steady, calm, present.
This walk is a small way to say goodbye to the year: the rhythm of footsteps on pavement, the shifting light over the river, the gentle sounds of winter approaching. It’s a chance to reflect on the months behind us, to feel the subtle energy of the season, and to welcome what comes next.
As you walk, let the path guide your attention—the cool breeze on your face, the sparkle of water, the stillness between sounds. This isn’t just a walk. It’s an invitation to pause, to close the year with presence, and to find a little magic along the way.
At the end waits the East Providence troll, standing quietly, a gentle reminder that even in the everyday, wonder can be found as the year comes to a close.
