Description: Flow with Nature: A Mindful Snowshoe Walk at Carr’s Pond and Tarbox Pond (Where stillness meets the rhythm of winter trails)
Here, where frozen ponds meet the quiet forest, the rhythm shifts. Snow crunches beneath your snowshoes, each step a soft echo in the stillness. The trails wind through pines dusted with snow, over gentle hills, and along frozen waters that mirror the pale winter sky. Every movement invites you to slow down, breathe, and notice the subtle life around you. Carr’s Pond and Tarbox Pond trails are where nature whispers and adventure calls: powdery paths through serene woods, open expanses of ice, and hidden corners where the forest holds its secrets. This isn’t just a walk—it’s an invitation to connect with winter, with the land, and with your own pace. The basic idea of this activity is to learn how to use snowshoes so you feel more comfortable on the trails. We will let you know the location based on trail conditions, so please keep in mind that you may need snow gear. If you don’t have any, please let the leaders know so they can be aware and help coordinate. 🌿 What to Expect: • Snowshoeing on trails. ( The trail conditions are usually flat, but please keep in mind that walking can be challenging under these conditions.) • Gentle exploration with mindful pauses • Reflection and light conversation in flow with nature • Balance of winter adventure and quiet serenity
