Description: Whispers of the River: A Grounded Walk at DNRT Frank Knowles/Little River Reserve
Let the quiet woods steady your breath and the river guide your pace— this mindful forest walk is for those in their 20s and 30s seeking presence, connection, and a deeper kind of calm. Tucked away in South Dartmouth and cared for by Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust, this 194-acre reserve is where forest, field, and freshwater wetlands meet. Wooden boardwalks carry you gently over marshland, tall trees filter the light above, and the Little River winds quietly through protected land.
Here, there’s no rush. Just the sound of wind in the trees, birds moving through the canopy, and the grounding rhythm of your own steps.
🌿 Expect woodland calm and quiet discovery: • Peaceful forest trails and scenic boardwalks • Freshwater wetlands and river views • Open meadows framed by stone walls and traces of old farmland • Space for reflection, intention, and meaningful conversation This isn’t a hike to conquer. It’s a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and share presence—together.
