20s/30s East Bay Bike Path Firefly/Ice Cream Ride

Audience: 20’s & 30’s
Description: Join the 20s/30s committee (20-40ish year olds) for a 15 mile round trip bike ride. down the east bay bike path to get ice cream, stop at a park on the bay for sunset, and hopefully view the fireflies near brickyard pond in Barrington (we have a late start so we can see them in the dark). Riders must have ridden a similar distance in the last 3 months, be able to maintain a moderate pace, and be comfortable with some hills and a bit of riding on the road. Riders must also wear a helmet and bring water, a snack, spare tube, and front and rear lights. Bug spray is also highly recommended.
